1000 books before Kinder Program
Not only do good reading skills benefit students academically, they are also a skill required for lifelong success! At our pre-k classroom, we encourage reading habits everyday, not only at school but also at home with parents!
Our goal is ‘1000 books before Kindergarten’! Today November 21, we celebrated those students who read 100 books!
We want to thank everyone who participate in this program and we look forward to the positive result that will follow!
Pre-K Science Fair
Pre-K Science Fair was a big success on November 21. Our students enjoyed learning how to make rocket ship, volcano, slime and colorful snow.
We can’t wait to have another science fair like this in the near future!
PreK Family Dinner
On November 15, we welcomed more than 50 pre-k family members who came to share our family traditional food at our Pre-K family Dinner!
We enjoyed the delicious food and had good time talking and getting to know our families!
It is such a good opportunity for us to build a positive relationship with parents! We are fortunate enough to have generous and on-going support from parents for the past 3 months and we believe our relationship will grow even stronger in the future!
Please sign up "VOLY" to volunteer at the SST Spring
Dear Parents,
Without the involvement of our parents and volunteers, our students would not have the same enriching experience we strive to provide each and every day at SST. You are an invaluable addition to our team. In order to make it easier to find volunteer opportunities at your campus, as well as completing the required background check, we are using a new program called VOLY. We encourage you to follow the link below and register with your campus to get involved in the many opportunities we find to provide our students with the highest quality learning environment possible.

Quick Start Guide: http://www.volnow.org/media/Voly/VOLY-Volunteer-Quick-Start-Guide.pdf
Dear Parents,
The success of SST's volunteer program depends upon the quality of the relationship between the volunteers, teachers, students and parents, and the general public.
School of Science and Technology provides equal volunteering opportunities for everyone regardless of age, sex, color, race, creed, national origin, religious persuasion, marital status, political belief, or disability that does not prohibit performance of essential job functions. All matters relating to volunteering are based upon ability to perform the job, as well as dependability and reliability.
More than ever, parental involvement is vital for schools to increase the student’s success. We believe with your help we can achieve our goals. Based on this fact and our school needs, we want to increase our volunteers. We need volunteers in the following areas at our campus; Cafeteria, Library and Classrooms. We encourage you to follow this link https://sstschools.voly.org/opportunity/index.html to select the opportunities that we created for you. Your supports are highly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your supports.Birthday Celebration Dates
