MSA Day is on MONDAY, May 15th! Help show your school spirit and come help out with our School Salute day!
Get ready to wear your blue and white with pride as part of our MSA family – all parents, grandparents, and alumni are encouraged! The school will be participating in several activities on the day, here’s the plan and how you can help:
Morning Salute | 7:30-8:30 AM |Represent MSA & wave to morning commuters
- 3 Locations
- East Broadway / BUEI - high school students and anyone who would like to join us (please arrange transport in advance), Check-in person: Laura Lyons

- Cedar Ave / Dundonald St – all students and parents are welcome to join faculty and staff around our school block, Check-in person: Alexandria Rego
Students must register in advance and check-in when they arrive at their selected location. Parents, your support would be appreciated in assisting with transporting students to school upon completion. Contact Laura Lyons at llyons@msa.bm to register and volunteer by Friday lunchtime.
Community Projects | 1:15 PM onwards | Planting Seeds of Kindness
This year we will be performing acts of kindness in our surrounding community, let us know if you would like to assist with any of them.
- Kindness Cards will be created by our elementary students and delivered by our grade 12 religion class to Meal on Wheels and senior care homes around the island.
- Gr 4 will be planting a garden in our main courtyard
- Middle school students will be playing instruments and handing out MSA bookmarks to passersby in the City of Hamilton: Queen Elizabeth Park, City Hall, Victoria Park
- High school students will be taking part in a KBB cleanup at various locations: around MSA, Cedar Ave, Marsh Folly Rd, Dutton Ave, North St.
LET US KNOW if you can help wave and transport students in the morning and/or if you are keen to assist and supervise the garden or KBB cleanup! Contact Laura Lyons at llyons@msa.bm to register and volunteer.
The School Salute is honoring the history of all our educational institutions this year so make sure you check out all the magazines in the Royal Gazette and online, http://schoolsalute.bm/
