Dear Lowell Families-

It’s hard to believe that 5 weeks have already passed as we are underway with learners! We have spent time getting to know our students and will spend additional time this month continuing with Fall Benchmark Assessments and MAP testing. These assessments provide us with literacy and math information in which we customize learning to meet individual student needs. As we close out the month we will celebrate October with Fall Fun Fest, which is a wonderful, PTO sponsored event.

Please know that there is District COVID Dashboard that is available on SDW's home page. You will find information on student/staff positive case. The link is below.

Also, as a reminder, when positive cases are identified at Lowell you will receive an email indicating exposure. We are not requiring students to quarantine, but rather we are asking parents to be mindful of symptoms and respond accordingly.

SDW has a document that is called, "Too Sick for School". Please read through it carefully, and if your child meets any of the criteria to stay home, I'd ask that you abide by the District guidelines. We want to keep our door open, and that means taking care of ourselves and taking care of our learning environment!
