We just completed our Heritage Extravaganza and the students who participated were treated to a catered luncheon by three area restaurants. We were honored to have their delicious culinary offerings and the students were so appreciative. Please patronize these restaurants and thank them for supporting your child in learning more about cultures of the world.

Theatre Mystery Dinner đ
Pine Ridge Middle School Theatre Department needs two more corporate sponsors for the May performances of the Murder Mystery plays. The law firm of Auto Accident Attorneys of Naples has already committed to being one sponsor. Two more are needed to help underwrite the catered dinner for the Friday, May 5th performance. Please contact Mrs. Sara Treiser at treiss@collierschools.com if you are interested in being a sponsor. You will receive our grateful acknowledgment in the program.
8th Grade Year End Events
As we near the end of our school year, we are happy to celebrate our fabulous eighth graders with special activities to remember their time at Pine Ridge Middle school.

Code of Conduct Reminder
Code of Conduct reminder: As of April 11th, students who violate the student code of conduct and receive 1 or more full days of ISS/OSS will not be permitted to participate in end of year activities such as 6th/7th grade PBIS day, the 8th grade dance, or 8th grade PBIS day.
End of Year Awards Ceremonies
Just a reminder that at the end of the school-year, we will be having a special award ceremony for students. There will be a 6th grade ceremony, a 7th grade ceremony and totally separate one for 8th grade award receiving students. This is an "INVITE ONLY event" and those invites will be going out the last week of April/first week of May. THANK YOU!
Civics Newsletter and EOC Review
Need extra help for the Civics EOC?
For the month of May until our civics EOC, Iâm happy to open my classroom from 8:25 to 9:05 for 7th grade students wishing to practice and get additional help on the Civics EOC. We can play review games with practice EOC questions. Thank you, Mrs. Pernini

IDs and Planners
Reminders:
- Planners and student IDs must be in studentsâ possession at all times while moving through the hallways. If a new planner is needed, they are available in the Guidance office for $5.
- Students must use the crosswalk when arriving or departing campus. We must do all we can to keep students safe.
Reminder for Buses
Just a reminder - if your bus is not here when the dismissal bell rings, you will need to wait until all the other buses leave and load at the front of the bus loop. Students will be asked to wait in the outdoor courtyard area. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!!
Display of flags
Reminder regarding the display of flags:
Per the Student Code of Conduct:
In an effort to provide safe schools and prevent potential disruption, the following flags are the only ones that may be displayed and/or worn on Collier County Public Schools campuses and at off campus school-related activities: (1) the United States and POW/MIA flags; (2) the State of Florida flag; and (3) official school flags. In addition, any related symbols may not be displayed or worn on campus or at off campus school-related activities. Exceptions to this rule may be made for national flags on special occasions or in designated areas consistent with the learning objectives of the District and at the discretion of the Principal.
Reminder about Drop Off and Pick Up!
Students should be dropped off in the student drop off area which is in the rear of the school (carline). Please ensure students are dropped off in the appropriate place as safety is the highest priority. Beginning on Monday, access to the parking lot by 6th grade will be restricted from 8:25am to 9:05am daily. Thank you for your cooperation as we strive to keep our students safe.
To School or Not to School?
Cell phone reminder:âī¸đĩđļ
Per middle school policy, cell phones are expected to be off and in student backpacks from 8:58am to 3:50pm. If students need to contact home, they must call from the main office.
Cell phones continue to be a challenge throughout the school day. Please reinforce with your students that phones must be powered off and in backpacks from 8:58am (first bell) to 3:50pm (end of day). Students are always able to contact home by reporting to the office to make the call.
