About territorial adaptation...
Territory, is something we all fight for. Having your own territory is something we all depend on, but mostly animals. Territorial animals defend their territory so they have a secure place to where they can get food for their families. Animals defend this territory by "marking it", like using their urine to warn other animals that that place is taken. This animals depend on their territory so much they will fight to the death to defend it.
Fighting To Death
Male deer fight for their territory as another male opponent comes and tries to take his home away from him.
Marking Territory
Lion uses urine as a trace to mark his territory, this would warn other animals trying to take the territory away that it belongs to him.
Fight On
Most animals whenever they feel danger or threaten form a "fighting position". This let other animals know that he will fight for his territory if needed.

Migration
Animals and human migrate, but why? Animals use migration as a food resource. Animals migration is mostly for food sources. Most animals, like birds, migrate before the winter comes because their food sources lower in a huge amount. They migrate to a warmer temperatures where enough food to sustain the whole population of birds is found.
