Farm
The outside covering is made of rubber or leather that comes from cows.
Factory
The basketball interior is made of butyl rubber, which is man made. Then the outside covering is melted to make an inner bladder that is shaped into a sphere by wrapping threads around the ball. Balls are tested by being inflated for 24 hours to see if they hold air. Then decals are made and balls are engraved with the team name.
