PTA Updates
December 13- 5:30 PTA Meeting, 2nd Grade Performance @ 6:00 p.m.
Updates from our Music Department
Our 2nd Graders are rehearsing for their upcoming show “This Old Gingerbread House” on December 13, 2023. The play is a sweet story about some animals who help re-build a home for their friends. We would love to collect donations that would go directly to Habitat for Humanity starting on December 4, 2023 and ending on December 13, 2023. Habitat for Humanity is a non profit organization whose mission is to provide safe and affordable homes to families in Hanover and King William Counties. Cash donations or checks (made payable to Habitat for Humanity) may be brought in and put in the donation box located in the office. We will also collect donations the evening of the concert (12/13/23). There is no goal or expectation, but simply to give back! No donation is too small.
SING & RING Assembly!
On December 22, 2023 we will have our 1st ever Sing & Ring Assembly! This will be a time for us to gather as a school and have some FESTIVE FUN! We will sing, dance and celebrate our upcoming Winter Break! This day is a scheduled pajama day but students are also welcome to wear any fun and festive gear that they have from home! (Ex. Santa Hat, Antlers, Light up necklaces – no face masks). This event is not a concert or family event but simply a schoolwide sing-a-long for the students and staff. Our Comets are EXCITED! - Mrs. A. Adams, Music Teacher
Lost and Found
Parents, please ask your child to check the lost and found area located in the front foyer of our building and on various tables in the next few weeks. We will be donating unclaimed items after December 22nd. Thank you for your help with this.
