NJHS Application Deadline
The deadline to submit the NJHS application is Tuesday, January 26th. Please be mindful that while we value family engagement in your student’s academic excellence, the student is responsible for completing the application (with your assistance) and for requesting teacher recommendations. We want our students to learn the necessary leadership skills to be successful now and throughout life. Help them complete the process, but please, do not do it for them. Additionally, please be mindful of teachers’ extensive duties when requesting a recommendation. Teachers have the option to submit the recommendation via a designated Google Form. It does not have to be completed in the student’s presence at the moment of request. Applications can be returned to school in the front office or Room 118. Applications can also be returned via email to the Adviser (contact information following). If you have any questions or concerns about eligibility or the application process, please contact the NJHS Adviser, Mrs. Gilmer, at arjillian.gilmer@lrsd.org.
Still in need... We are still in need of disinfecting wipes. If you have some to spare, please send them with your student or you can drop them off in the front office. | New HAC Link There is new HAC Link! Please check your child's grades and attendance here. If you see any grade discrepancies between Schoology and HAC, contact your child's teacher directly. | Where will your child attend school next year? Be sure to check your attendance zone for your child's school for next year. If you are zoned for Pinnacle View, you should be zoned for Little Rock West High School of Innovation. Contact Karen Heatherly at karen.heatherly@lrsd.org or 501-447-8602 for information on course offerings. Check your school zone here. |
