Kings Manor Elementary, June 2022

Welcome, Mr. Carlile!

Kings Manor Families,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Principal of Kings Manor Elementary School. I am honored to have been selected to serve a school community in which all stakeholders including students, parents, staff and community partners are dedicated to preparing our learning community for the REALITY of tomorrow. My official start date at Kings Manor Elementary School will be July 1, however Mrs. Paine and I are currently working diligently to foster a smooth transition.

I currently serve as the Assistant Principal at Keefer Crossing Middle School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Secondary Education at Sam Houston State University and my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. In my professional career, I have served as an Agriculture Science Teacher, Student Support Program Supervisor, Special Education Teacher and for the previous 7 years, as an Assistant Principal here in New Caney ISD. I have a combined 11 years educational experience in elementary and secondary education.

I am the father of two children, Daisy and John. Both of my children will be attending Kings Manor Elementary this fall. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family: outdoors, traveling, swimming, and beekeeping.

I am eager to fuse my experience, my openness to learn, and my student-centered approach to supporting all of our students each and every day. This summer we will be hosting Kings Manor 101 - Parent Information Meetings, which will provide opportunities for us to meet and greet. I encourage and welcome each of you to join forces with us at Kings Manor and become as involved as possible in your child's education.

Hand in Hand, Together we Can!

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Mr. Rodree Carlile

Proud Principal of Kings Manor Elementary

Summer Reading

Summer is almost here, and while fun in the sun is on everyone's mind, we're also thinking about how we can encourage students to read over the summer. Checkout the district’s summer reading website full of ideas to help keep your kids reading all summer long. Also make sure to sign up for the Montgomery County Memorial Library summer reading program, “Oceans of Possibilities.” They’re giving away all sorts of great prizes! More information can be found here.
