The Las Vegas Water Show uses water jets that have projectile motion when the water goes in the air
Projectile Motion - a form of motion that moves along a curved path influenced by gravity only
Examples of Projectile Motion
Angry Birds
When the angry bird is launch it has projectile motion. You can aim the bird to give it a higher or lower amplitude and range.
Bouncy Ball
As a ball bounces it creates a parabola. The amplitude decreases as gravity forces the ball to bounce less and less.
A Hose
The hose sprays out water creating projectile motion at a certain angle.
