For parents that have not had the chance to complete the survey, here is the link to our survey for parents. We would love to have everyone participate, so we have great data to make adjustments and decisions as we work to support our students and families moving forward.
In accordance with the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Health Authority Public Health Division, the Scappoose School District is participating in the Student Health Survey. The survey is made available to 11th graders. Information about the survey is available here. If for any reason you wish to opt-out of this survey, please complete the opt-out portion of the form and return it to the office. If you would like to read the survey, a copy is available in the main office.

We have been busy coordinating our schools upcoming trip to the annual fall OASC Leadership Conference, as well as decorating the turkey baskets!
Senior Class The seniors created a bulletin board for our teacher of the month sponsored by Country Financial (shout out to Mr. Eric Gantenbein!) and are excited to start including this in our Monday meetings. We will be sharing the monthly winners here on out in the newsletter. Congratulations to Mr. Lazz and Ms. Fajardo for winning September and October! The seniors also have been planning a Bingo Night at the Senior Center to connect with seniors in our community! It’s taking place on December 5th and the NHS is volunteering as well to serve sweet treats and warm drinks!
Junior Class The juniors have been working on planning a Winter Holiday Movie Night in the gym with refreshments for our community that will be held on January 18th.
Sophomore Class We held a successful fundraiser selling vintage Scappoose shirts Thursday night. We’re also continuing to work on Winter Ball plans (Saturday, January 21st)!

NHS Individual Service Project Ask:
Hi there! I am Adi Stoddard, a Senior at Scappoose High School. I am taking over our clothing closet at SHS. Our clothing closet supports those students in our community who need the extra help to have the proper clothing. In order to get our clothing closet up and running, we are in need of new shelving. We are looking for two, Heavy Duty Storage Shelves. Here is an Amazon link to what we are looking for HERE. Used is great, too! If you are able to help in any way, please contact me at adisons2023@stu.scappoosek12.org

*There have been some issues with the FAFSA website. It has been hit or miss for the past week. Hopefully, the site will be more stable in the coming weeks. Additionally, the FSA ID process is taking a bit longer this year, likely due to the new two-factor authentication. Students/Families should still try to obtain their FSA ID prior to completing the FAFSA/ORSA.
