It's all about learning!

Student Perception Surveys

All GTES Student Perception Surveys are in the Portal. Please log in and review your results. Please be prepared to discuss your results at your summative conference, as these are a part of the totality of the evidence for Standards, 3,4, 7 & 8.

Summative Conferences

Please look for a Signup Genius link sent by Dee Dee Stagman to sign up for your summative evaluation with Ms. Keag or Ms. Martinez. All summative conferences will be held prior to April 1, 2016 for certified and classified staff. By then, all employees should have all green checks in the Portal for GTES or GEES.

On Tuesday, March 22, please meet for your CLT collaborative planning meetings.

On Thursday, March 24, Kay Reynolds will facilitate our professional learning in the Mind Meld room during your planning period.

Bragging On...

Ronda Price and Mary Cimino for catching a dog on Thursday afternoon, who was loose in the parking lot at dismissal, and reuniting him with his owner. Your actions kept our students safe prior to boarding their buses and kept the dog safe because he was deaf and frightened. Great teamwork!

The Fairy Tale Ball was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone for making this school wide celebration memorable for our first grade students. Whether you cheered them on during the parade, checked in parents, set up the cafe, decorated the school, or dressed up, it was a team effort, and you made it happen for our students! #SuwaneeHasIT! Suwanee has YOU!

Ronda Price, TIffany Hutchinson, Lynn Barnett, Joyce Fico, and Kelley Lorenz for donating their time for Relay for Life. We raised over $270 because they created a Parent's Night Out and our students had a ball. A fun time was had by all!

Mr. Gogo for making "Pups" the most desirable item in our school to put on a key chain. Our students are raising money, having fun, and getting heart healthy. Keep it up!

Kathy Burnette for preparing for our annual audit. We know this is a detailed job and we appreciate your hard work. Thank you very much!

Class Lists

Thank you all for turning in your class placement forms. The leadership team will get input from you on Friday, March 25 regarding the drafted lists. This will be done by grade level. Please look for an email later in the week with more details.

Substitutes-Action Required

Every employee is expected to secure a substitute for their position, whether it is a half day or a full day. Splitting classes is not desirable for your teammates or students, and we do not have the staff in the front office to cover classes or call subs for individuals. Every employee must follow the leave process. If you have questions about this process (explained during pre planning), please see Ms. Brown-Townsend immediately. It is a professional expectation that employees have coverage when they are out of the building. If you need to submit a request any time after 10:00 PM prior to your absence, then you must call my cell phone directly and email me. My number is listed on the phone tree in C&I. Thank you for taking the necessary steps for Team Suwanee when you need to be out of the building so teaching and learning remain the focus at our school.
