One Team, One Dream…March 16-20 Weekly Update

Highlights Of The Week...

  • Our Dr. Seuss Literary Family Night was a huge success. Thank you, again, Mrs. Sloan and Ms. Ham for planning the event for our school and to everyone who assisted in some way and/or attended the event.
  • Congratulations to our 5th grade Science Bowl Team members (Jasmine Bullard, Christopher Ramsey, Joshua Newsome, LeeAnn Miller, and Cayden Towell) who won their first match on Tuesday. They will compete against Independence on next Tuesday. Way to go Mustangs!

Think About It...

"In fact, every word and action can send a message. It tells children—or students, or athletes—how to think about themselves. It can be a fixed-mindset message that says: You have permanent traits and I’m judging them. Or it can be a growth-mindset message that says: You are a developing person and I am interested in your development.”

--Carol S. Dweck, Author of Mindset
