Please send your donations to school by Friday, May 3rd. On the day of service, our students will be making care bags to be delivered to our local hospitals.

CHEERLEADERS
COACHES SUZANNE TORRES KRISTEN IRAUSQUIN
KRISTEN CICHON DONNA RYAN
I would like to acknowledge our cheerleaders. For the past 2 years our girls have been under the leadership of 4 outstanding and committed moms to the program.
They have taken a group of girls who might not have done cheer at all, just a little or experienced and developed them into fine young confident, athletic ladies. I know cheer does not get the recognition that other sport teams get, so at this time I wanted to recognize them to our school community.
They practiced every week like everyone else, learned new routines which the coaches created and became talented in so many areas of the sport. Let me remind you that each one has to really know the routine in order for it to be successful for if not an accident could easily happen.
There is no cheer contest but each year the MCAL has a cheer exhibition that allows the school to present 2 cheers. This year when I watched the exhibition I was truly blown away by the improved skill level, self confidence in the girls and the athleticism that the girls displayed. If, a prize was given they were getting
1st PLACE.
So, the group of moms who have been coaching will be moving on since their daughters are graduating and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping each girl to develop, grow, and become confident in themselves and that they can reach any goal they set out to do.
SPRING SPORTS
Spring sports have begun. A reminder to all that if your child/children are unable to make a practice/game please email the coach ahead of time. They are expected to be at all practices/games.
Also, I would like to personally congratulate our Girls Varsity Coach
Ellen Masonius who just finished her 15th year at Head Coach and achieving her 600 win.
The Girls Varsity also won the Run for the Roses tournament and this was the 40th annual tournament. Ellen (Clark) Masonius was the MVP for the 1st tournament. Congratulations, Ellen!!!!
