Accessing Ebooks/Audiobooks from Baltimore County Public Library

All Baltimore County Public School students automatically have a library card and account at Baltimore County Public Libraries! These accounts give you access to the online resources from BCPL, as well as the ebooks, audiobooks, and movies! If your student does not know how to access their account, they can send Mrs. McKeefery or Ms. Todd a message on Schoology to receive their ID number and password. If they do not know where to go to find the BCPL resources, watch this quick screencast, or checkout the pdf linked below.

Please let us know if you have questions!

Maryland Black Eyed Susan Book Award - Vote Now!

The Maryland Black Eyed Susan Book Award is voted on by Maryland students. See the nominated books here. We were working our way through these with many of our classes prior to the school closures, so your student may have read many of these. If they are a Battle of the Books participant they have read many of the nominated chapter books.

Attached below is a note taking sheet you can print for your student to take notes on each nominated picture book and decide which is their favorite.

If your child has read at least 8 of the nominated titles, they can vote for the award. Vote online here. Voting closes on April 25th.
