2019-2020 Registration
Dear CV Family,
This year’s registration process is NEW and very user friendly with a focus on long term academic planning. Please follow the process outlined in the attached slideshow.
The course selection process for current Campo Verde students began this past Monday, January 14th. Attached is a slideshow presentation explaining the procedures for selecting and inputting course selections which can be completed with your child via the parent or student portal. In addition, other important resources are provided below to assist you in making course selections. Each student will need to enter course requests into Infinite Campus by January 28th.
Once course requests have been entered, counselors will be meeting with students to review the course selections in conjunction with credit checks. This process will take place from January 28th to March 1st during math classes. Course selection is very important, as teachers are hired and classes staffed based on the requests you make during this process. We believe that you will find this new process much more user friendly and intuitive.
Incoming ninth graders will be presented the same material at South Valley Jr High on February 12th. All potential incoming freshmen are invited to Coyote Preview Night on February 12th at 6pm.
Thank you,
The Campo Verde Registration Team

Library Information
One of the librarian’s aides (Portia Gonzalez 12th grade) decorated a display for January. She made one of the pillars in the library look like a huge piano! With her creative art, she paired various nonfiction books about music to be featured. The library also has a fun display about books that BLUE us away (all the books have blue covers) and an inspirational display with positive quotes from authors.
On January 16, a local author came to the library to read to our TOYBOX students.
Ms. Louise Gabriel is a writer among other artistic endeavors. She has published 7 nonfiction children’s books. She read Puddles the Raindrop Explores the Grand Canyon State, Arizona to our TOYBOX students, teaching them the concepts of the water cycle. She brought coloring pages related to her book, featuring the main character Puddles, for the students to enjoy….and they sure did!

Link Crew Update
Coyote Family!
A little update from Link Crew for the second semester! We still have events going on this second semester, we are not going anywhere!
First up, we have our January Link N’ Learn on Thursday, January 24th during fourth and fifth hour lunches. It will be held out by the center ramada and class representatives will be there advertising for their specific class. We will have Biomed, Sportsmed, Culinary, Photography, and many other classes represented, so make sure to come and explore the class options. It will be a great event to get a better grasp on what amazing classes Campo Verde has to offer! This Link N’ Learn is not limited to freshman, so all grade levels are welcome to attend!
Our next event is Kickball on Friday, March 1st from 5-7 PM on the practice fields. This will be an event where freshman and their Link Crew Leaders will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive activity with other Link Crew groups! We will have water bottles supplied, but the food truck, Later Tater, will also be there so make sure to bring money for that!
Lastly, we have our Spring Movie Night on Thursday, April 11th from 6-9 PM where we will be showing Ralph Breaks the Internet! We will have food trucks and games, and hope to see you there! More information will be provided about Movie Night as the date gets closer!
We can’t wait to finish this semester strong!
