Mr. Smith Science 2018-19

The Pursuit of a Better Student Experience

Welcome to 8th grade Science

About Me:

The 2018-19 school year will be my third year teaching at GTJMS. I have been teaching for 24 years and have experience teaching in Allegany County, MD, Prince George's County, MD and now Frederick County. I started in FCPS at Brunswick Middle School as 6th, 7th, & 8th grade science teacher and was head girls soccer coach for five years at the Brunswick High. The next twelve years I was an 8th grade science teacher/department chair at West Frederick Middle School. I have a wife who is an administrator at WKMS and three boys who keep me busy. I enjoy gardening, fishing, sports, and the outdoors.

I am very excited to back for the 2018 school year as a Patriot.
