Spotswood College
November 2020 Newsletter
Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou,
In June we consulted with our community about whether to stay in or opt-out of the voluntary donation scheme.
At that time we had recently come out of lockdown and it was difficult to foresee the financial pressures that would be on our community.
As we are now in October feedback from our community has strongly indicated that opting back into the voluntary scheme is a more favourable option to ensure we are providing an equitable and quality learning community.
Thank you for your ongoing support.

STUDENTS AT THE CENTRE OF LEARNING
Super Proud of The Designery who came overall runner up in the regional YES competition!
Ministry provided Chromebooks
Senior students who may already be thinking about leaving need to return their Ministry provided Chromebooks to either the ICT hub or to Reception. There is a new requirement on students orange leaving cards to get this specifically signed off.
Important Heads Up - During the last week of school (week 7th to 11th December) there will be a software lock and recall put on all student Ministry provided Chromebooks. Students will be required to hand them back into the ICT hub, with the charger. This will enable ICT Support to stocktake and also transfer the Chrome management system on each device over to Spotswood College. Before returning them to the students ready for school week zero in 2021.
Any missing or damaged devices will be charged to students accounts.
The Spotswood College 2021 Junior and Senior Curriculum Booklets are now available on our Spotswood College website under Curriculum.
The Curriculum Booklets are in a flipbook format which can be easily zoomed in and out, or you can click the download button and download as a pdf if you'd prefer.
