Interfaith Baccalaureate Service
Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM, Callahan Theater
The Class of 2015 will gather with their families and friends for this year’s Interfaith Baccalaureate Service.
This year’s class has chosen the theme “Bearing the Light” and has selected readings and prayers from a variety of faith traditions. The Nazareth Chamber Singers will also sing a beautiful Celtic Blessing that was composed specifically for Baccalaureate. The Interfaith Baccalaureate Service includes reflections on the theme by this year's speaker Sr. Barbabra Lum, SSJ, a Naz alumna who was instrumental in the historic events which were depicted in the movie "Selma".
We hope you and your families can join us for this special celebration!

Here are some details that will help you and your families make plans for next Saturday's service:
- Baccalaureate is for undergrad as well as graduate level students.
- Baccalaureate Rehearsal (on Friday at 1:30pm) is ONLY for those leaders who are doing readings, songs, etc, so most of you DO NOT have to come.
- On Saturday, graduates line-up at 1:30 in A13 and A14 (lower level of the Arts Center).
- Graduates wear CAP AND GOWN but no hoods (It's the first official time you wear your cap and gown!).
- The program is about an hour long and will include some gorgeous musical pieces as well as readings and reflections.
- About 500 people will be at Baccalaureate!
- Families are encouraged to arrive before 2:00pm, since the processional will begin promptly at 2:00.
We hope you and your families can join us for this special celebration!
