HOW TO STOP A BULLY BY KAMERON G.

A bully will try to make fun of you or hurt you. You just simply say stop and walk away. After you walk away tell a teacher. Let the teacher handle it from there and go play. If a teacher asks you to come here, you can tell the teacher what he or she did and then let him tell his story. Then if he lies about it, wait till he finishes his story and tell the teacher that he lied.

MY GUIDE FOR BARRIER ISLAND BY JULIA E.Y.

A lot of people who haven’t gone to Barrier Island don’t know what it’s like to be on a bus for about four hours. Some kids think it’s so boring but it’s not so here are some things you can do on the way.

How NOT to be bored on the bus!

-You can bring a small book bag on the bus so you can carry a blanket and pillow to sleep on the way.

-Get on your personal devices! Notice-Once you are on camp they will collect up your device so don’t try to sneak it in.

-Your teachers will be playing movies!

-Bring paper and pencil and write!

When I was on the bus I sat with my friend and had a great time talking to her and watching the movie. I also tried sleeping but it was hard since everybody was talking. I recommend all of the people in the lower grades that when they get to fifth grade to go! It will be your best memories for you and your friends!

BARRIER ISLAND BY DAKOTA L.

When we went to Barrier Island we had a ton of fun! There was an estuary and when we went there we saw five dolphins! Then we got to spend the night in a cabin! The beds were not very comfortable, but I slept through the night so that was good. The next morning we went to breakfast. All meals were served family style and if we had ort (food we wasted) we would lose points. The next day we went to the mud pit but to get to the mud pit we had to walk through the salt marsh! One kid in the mud pit lost his shoe!! It was so funny but the way we went back I felt bad for him because we went through the woods. The next day was leaving day but we had one more activity and it was the woods trail. There were a ton of mosquitoes but I did not got bit once. So after that we ate lunch and left but I will never forget that experience!

BARRIER ISLAND BY ZACH F.

Barrier Island was a trip that the fifth grade classes went on. The trip was a 3 day long field trip. Barrier Island is in Charleston SC. It was beautiful with its forests dark blue water and its estuaries. At Barrier Island we get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert and they all taste great. We had a bunch of activities my favorite was the mud pit. To get to the mud pit and we had to go through a salt marsh with mud going up to my knees In conclusion Barrier Island was awesome and I hope everyone will get a chance to go.

About Me By Emmalyhn B.

Now I am 10 years old. What I like to do on my free time is play on my IPAD, color, help my mom, and go outside. What I mostly do is help my mom. Also what I hate to do when I help my mom is wash the dishes.

Outside I ride my bike, ripstick, and a skateboard. I like to ride my bike to exercise my legs and mussels. In school I like to be with my friends. My friends are Jocelyn, Megan, Alexis, Jennifer, Alana, Nini, and Miss. Woodyard my teacher. I love my friends and enjoy my school time.

I have one brother, and his name is William. Also he is 8 years old. I love my brother so much. I play with him outside, I like to draw with him, and like to spend time with him. I love spending time with my family.

VIDEO RECOMMENDATION BY MELISSA H.

I picked this video because I have heard kids that don’t say kind words to teachers, lunch ladies, and other kids. The reason I picked it is because it will help you to be nicer to people .The most important part about this video is when kid president says we should say thank you, excuse me and, I’m sorry. These word are important because some kids don’t say thank you , excuse me or I’m sorry when they hurt someone’s feelings , when they are trying to get somewhere, the word thank you is most important because you have to say thank you to teaches, lunch ladies, and other kids .
