Mrs. Jackson's Pre-K

Super Sweet Spring Party and Egg Hunt!

It was such a fun Spring Party and Egg Hunt today! We loved watching everyone hunting for their eggs and know that everyone had a great time! They are looking forward the opening their eggs at home and enjoying their special treats! Thanks to everyone for getting in the eggs, baskets, bags, treats and donations for the party! We truly appreciate you all helping make events like these so special for our sweet class!

Still Accepting Flowers, etc! Thank you!

We would love to bring in Spring with a new dramatic play area and theme! We could use your help with a few donations! We will be watching things grow and need your help!

I am hoping each child can send in some of the following to help make this spring theme a success! I believe each of these items can be found at the dollar stores.

If you can send in ANY of the following:

  • Artificial flowers (single stems, bunches, etc)
  • FLOWER ARRANGEMENT FOAM
  • Plastic vasescontainers
  • Easter basket grass (for our sensory table)
  • Seeds of any kind
  • Any other items that make you think of spring and gardening!

Thank you in advance for helping us make this such a fun time of year for our students!

Field Trip- April 12th!

We will be visiting Noah's Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, April 12th. Field Trip forms went home this week and we would like to have those returned WITH money by next Wednesday, March 30. Please remember we have Spring Break the following week and need to have all field trip permission forms and money taken care of since the field trip is Tuesday when we return. Students are $10 and Parent Chaperons are $3. We are not limiting the number of chaperones, however, there may be limited room on the school bus. If that happens we will have to ask chaperones to follow us there. Please be sure to mark any boxes necessary on the bottom of our field trip form. We are looking forward to a great field trip with lots of learning and fun! If you have any questions, please let me know!

A Note About Backpacks and Show-n-Tell!

As the year winds down we are noticing that students backpacks are getting more and more packed with extra items from home. Please go through your child's backpack and remove items that are not necessary for school. We would also like to ask that everyone limit show-n-tell items on Friday to ONE item and that these items fit in your child's backpack. If you have any questions about what is appropriate for your child's backpacks or show-n-tell, please let me know and thank you for helping us with this!
