The Basic Idea
Gamification is used to engaged the user. When someone is playing a game, they are focused on the activity rather than the outcome. Through this process,they are developing skills.
It is primarily used in an educational environment. Since games are lots more engaging, they can be used to convert learning into a fun experience, especially for children.
Although gamification is most commonly used in educational, it is also found in every day life. Things like rewards programs offer rewards for accomplishing certain tasks or meeting goals, and this is one of the fundamental idea's of gamification.
Gaming results in increased hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and memory.
