Principal's Messages
I hope to see you all this Sunday at our Annual Hiawatha Hustle from 2:30-3:30 PM. This fun run gives us a chance to mingle, exercise, and enjoy each other's company!
We welcome all of our families to join their child or children during their lunchtime throughout the school year. We have a special guest table where parents can sit with their children. Students are also allowed to invite a friend to this table.
We will have our first whole school community building time on October 4th from 7:55-8:20 AM in our gym. This special event is a time when we officially welcome all of our kindergartners with a flower ceremony. Each year the third grade classes buddy up with a kindergarten class. Each kindergartner receives a third grade buddy. Throughout the year, the buddies do special things with each other. All are welcome to come and share in this moment!
Parking Note:
Thank you for your patience navigating our parking with the addition of busing. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE unattended in the pickup and drop off lane from 7:30-8:00 AM or from 2:30-3:00 PM. If you park in the handicap space, please make sure you have a visible marker.

Green Mountain Sing
This year we'll be continuing our long-running Green Mountain Sing, and families are encouraged to attend! They will be held one Friday each month from 7:55-8:20 AM, and we're hoping this consistent time will increase family attendance. Mrs. Reed and Mr. Evans will lead the entire school in singing many different styles of songs, and occasionally showcase certain classrooms and students. We feel very strongly that singing together increases feelings of healthy community, care, and respect for ourselves and each other. Please join us! Here is the schedule: Oct. 11, Nov. 15, Dec. 20, Jan. 17, Feb. 14, March 13, April 17, May 15, June 5 (Tentative)
