BHS Community Service Day

Students and staff spent the day giving back to their community on September 22nd. BHS staff divided up and took small groups of students to the City Park, Gross Creek, Coquille Point, the Community Garden, Bandon Heights, City Hall, the South Slough, and even cleaned up the flower beds in the district. Great job, Tigers!

Picture Day is October 5th, 2021. Picture packets are available at the BHS office.


PARENTS: If your student does not have a personal Chromebook or laptop at home, please have them stop by the office and pick up a device check-out form. There is a $25.00 refundable fee due prior to receiving a BSD Chromebook.

Important Dates

Tuesday, October 5th is our annual "Lions Vision Screening". All students will be participating. Please call the office with any questions.

Tuesday, October 5th are Cross County team photos.

Thursday, October 7th is School Picture Day. Students will be receiving order packets to bring home on 9/23.

Thursday, October 7th are Football and Volleyball team photos afterschool.

Friday, October 8th is an in-service day for school staff. There will be no school.


Please remember to check your email for information regarding Chromebooks. Please note that the students are not bringing home computers at this time, but we are asking for a $25 refundable deposit now, if you think that your student would need to borrow a computer should we have to go back to distance learning. Please contact the office with any questions or if you need help paying this fee. Please also remember to fill the Technology Device Agreement that went home with your student earlier this month if you haven’t already done so.

Hoops For Hope

October 30th is the annual youth basketball camp "Hoops for Hope". All proceeds from this camp go towards local charities and the Lady Tigers Basketball team. The camp is available for students in 3rd-8th grades and costs $25. Fliers were sent home with interested students this past week. Copies of the flier can be found on Facebook and in the HLMS office.

Medical Release Forms

Please take the time to see if you have filled out the "Medical Release Form". This is an important document that allows us to treat your child for any injuries or illnesses that may come up during the day. If you have any questions about this form, please don't hesitate to call. It is found in you TYLER Portal and is under "E-Forms".

Please Remember To Bring Your Water Bottles! The bottle fills on campus are available, but the drinking fountains are not!
