Deoxyribonuclieic Acid

DNA is a hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person's body has the same DNA. DNA is mostly found in the cell nucleus, but also a small amount can be found in the mitochondria. The information in DNA is stored as a code made up of four chemical bases including, adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T). DNA is a double helix formed base pairs attached to a sugar-phosphate backbone.

What does DNA do?

DNA sequences must be converted messages that can be used to produce proteins, which are complex molecules that do most of the work in our bodies. Heredity is the transmission of genetic characters from parents to offspring. Replication is the process by which double-stranded DNA makes copies of itself. Protein Production is four stages in the production of protein molecules in a cell area-transfer.

What is RNA?

Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) a nucleic acid present in all living cells. Its principal role is to act as a messenger carrying instructions from DNA for controlling the synthesis of proteins. Types of RNA:
mRNA or Messenger RNA
rRNA or Ribosomal RNA
tRNA or Transfer RNA
