Mrs. Moench and Mrs. DiGiacomo will be speaking at St. Patrick's this weekend.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT DETAILS:
SUNDAY DRESS REHEARSAL
Students in Grades 1 - 11 need to be at school by 12:45 pm, in their costumes if they have one, to start rehearsal promptly at 1 pm. The ELP and Kindergarten students are not required to take part in this Sunday rehearsal.
We are requesting students be dropped off at the Pedestrian Gate and students can make their way to the Auditorium. Parents are not permitted to stay to watch the dress rehearsal. No cars will be permitted to drive into the Courtyard. Teachers will escort students back to the Pedestrian Gate at 3 pm so that parents can collect them from Washington Street. Please do not try to enter the school grounds from the St. Joesph's Gate on Elliott street as there will be no one in the office to open that gate. If your child will not be attending the dress rehearsal please email Ms. Sontag on ssontag@msa.bm to advise her, if you have not yet done so.
MONDAY - WEDNESDAY PERFORMANCES
Elementary students should be dropped off to their classrooms at 6 pm, dressed in their costumes. Middle and High School students should be dropped off between 5:30pm and 5:45 pm. There should be no electronic games, Ipods or Ipads brought to the school.
Parents of Elementary and Middle School students must go to the classroom to pick up students at the end of the evening as no student will be permitted to leave without a parent. Students not participating in the Tableau should be collected at 8pm from the classrooms. The only students who should remain in the classroom after 8pm are those whose parents are watching the performance.
In the hopes of trying to take some added stress off of parents during this final week of school before the Christmas break begins, we are suggesting that students do not need to wear their uniform to school on the days of the play. They will need to come to school in their uniform on Thursday, December 15 ONLY. This will apply to the entire school.
Friday, December 16th will be a non-uniform day and school will begin school at 9am. Dismissal will be as follows:
11:45am - Middle School and High School
12 Noon - Elementary School

Incoming Student Teachers for the Spring Term
MSA will be hosting three student teachers from the University of Alberta during our Spring Term of 2017. They will arrive in February, the weekend of the 18th, until the first weekend of May. We would like to try and secure host accommodations for them as early as possible for the duration of their stay. They are looking to rent out a bedroom in a home and they will be able to pay $100 a week. Accommodations close to public transport and amenities would be ideal. If you are willing and able to assist with housing one of the student teachers while they are here can you please contact Mrs. Kellie Barbosa at kbarbosa@msa.bm. Thank you to anyone who can assist.
