Harry Potter
Who is Harry Potter?
Harry Potter was an orphan, his parents killed by Tom Riddle, better well known as Voldemort. When his parents were killed, Harry was marked with a scar on his forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt. This scar prevented Voldemort from being able to hurt Harry. According to Rowling, Harry is strongly guided by his own conscience, and has a keen feeling of what is right and wrong. Having "very limited access to truly caring adults", Rowling said, Harry "is forced to make his own decisions from an early age on." He "does make mistakes", she conceded, but in the end, he does what his conscience tells him to do. According to Rowling, one of Harry's pivotal scenes came in the fourth book when he protects his dead schoolmate Cedric Diggory's body from Voldemort, because it shows he is brave and selfless.

Describe the muggles family Harry lives with. What is Harry’s life like there?
The muggle family that Harry lives with, the Dursley’s, are the last blood relatives Harry has. His Uncle Vernon is described as a big, beefy man, with hardly any neck and a large mustache. His Aunt Petunia is described as being the exact opposite. Having a small frame, long, skinny neck and a “rather horsey” face. She is Lily Potter’s, who is Harry’s mother, sister. Dudley is Petunia and Vernon’s son; Harry’s cousin. He is described as a fat, blond-haired boy. He is known mainly for being a spoiled brat that, along with his gang, beats up Harry and other neighborhood kids quite often. His life in the Dursley home is quite awful. He is forced to live in a cupboard underneath the stairs. Receiving at most 1 or 2 gifts, if any at all, while Dudley receives a gift more every year than he did the year before.

Tell about Hogwarts School and what Harry’s life is like there.
Hogwarts is a magical school for Witches and Wizards both. Students go there when they are eleven and return every year until they are 18. The school was built to not only educate young wizards and witches about the powers they possess. But to also act as a safe place to keep them, so they aren't lost to the Deatheaters. Harry enjoys going to Hogwarts very much. He makes some enemies, but makes twice that amount in friends. He is looked to as a leader by most, and hated by the rest. He learns many things throughout his life at the school and finds out many things he didn't want to know. But he considers Hogwarts as his home.

What do you like best about Harry and his friends? Describe one of their adventures.
Harry Potter’s two best friends are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. What I like best about them is their bond. Throughout the series, they face many dangers and all their lives have been at risk countless times. They've all had arguments with each other, but they make up always and come together to overcome whatever obstacle they’re faced with. The friendship between the three is one that many teenagers these days envy, it is one could take many years to develop, they all trust each other with their lives and regret almost nothing they do as long as it was what was best for their friends.

Have you read the books? Which do you like better – the books or the movies?
I believe the books portray the character’s emotions and feelings better than the movies. Because the relationship between the characters and the emotion felt when there is a death, or a shock, or something great happen are better described in the books than the movies. What make the books better are the things that you can’t see, but feel by reading the words.
