All-School Picnic - You're Invited
Classroom assignment
This spring we will begin the process of assigning children to classes for 2016-17 school year. Classroom assignment is a process that takes into account several factors to ensure optimal learning environments for all of our students by creating balanced student rosters. Some of the factors that will be prioritized include class sizes, gender balance, and student ability. Later this spring, a team of teachers, along with Mrs. Bitney the guidance counselor and myself, will meet and work to create balanced class lists for next year in order to benefit all students. If you feel that there is a special circumstance that warrants additional consideration you may submit a letter detailing your thoughts to myself though there will not be a guarantee of preferential placement.
Field Days
Weather permitting, we are planning field days for the last week of school for every grade level. The field days will have some fun, active stations for students in grades K-2 and more "track and field"-like events for students in grades 3-4.
