From the Academic Team -
Stakeholder Surveys will start this week! School staff, teachers, and families will all receive a unique link to complete the survey. (Next week, Directors and Home Office staff will receive the link). Please encourage all to participate - we want to hear from you!
- Remember, the deadline for 3 Informals and 1 formal observation is March 25, before Spring Break. By the end of Spring Break, all data from these observations must be in Teachboost. If you are struggling to meet this deadline, please speak with Ryan Gomez and John Knight.
- Arts Month Planning is in full effect! Please remember to send Jamie McAndrews any ideas or events you have planned!
- We are still looking for volunteers for March 19's Athletics for All day. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact Jackie Cohen.

- The sixth annual Google Science Fair is here and now open for submissions for students aged 13-18 around the world. In partnership with National Geographic, LEGO Education, Scientific American, and Virgin Galactic, we want to hear how students will use science and engineering to make something better. - Los Angeles Education Partnership is pleased to announce the 4th annual Helen Bernstein Award for Teacher Leadership. In memory of Helen Bernstein and her renowned support for teachers, advocacy for student success, and belief in decentralizing administration, this award celebrates a teacher who exhibits her attributes. The award, which includes a $1,000 prize, will be given at LAEP's annual event on Thursday, April 28, 2016. - FREE // Book and Writing Club for Teens, March 17-May 7, Thursdays 4:30-6pm Reading, short-story writing, and creative bookmaking project. View Park High School’s Spring Carnival Fundraiser takes place on Saturday, March 12 from 10am-3pm. The event is free. Come out to support the school and have a fun afternoon with food, games, music and more. For additional information, please contact View Park High School!
