Please Take Our Optional End-Of-Year Family Survey!
As we begin the process to plan for next year, we would like your feedback on how this school year went for your family and input for next year. The first five fields are required but the last seven fields are optional. We thank you in advance for giving us your honest, yet professional feedback. The survey will be open until the end of business day on Friday, June 1st, 2018. For those of you with multiple children at SGE, it is set up to all for multiple responses. Please click here to access the survey. Thank you!
Textbook Fees Reminder
As the school year comes to an end, please make sure that your textbook rental fees are paid. Textbook rental fees that are not paid in full by the end of the school year will be sent to a licensed collection agency. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Get Moving for HEART!
We will be kicking off our Jump Rope for Heart event soon and you can get a head start by registering online and sending emails NOW!
1. Go to www.heart.org/jump <http://www.heart.org/jump>
2. Search for Stonegate Elementary
3. Select our school and join team.
Be sure to check out some of the items in your HeadQuarters - we don't want you to miss out on sending Ecards and Emails and check out your My Virtual World where you can unlock cool games and earn points. These are fun ways to challenge yourself and others to be heart healthy and ask friends and family for a donation to save lives.
This year, all of your monsters will come to life! Make sure to take a few seconds to download the FREE Mobile app for iPhone <https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jump-hoops/id548389448?mt=8> or Android <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aha_jump.android.communicator&hl=en> by searching for Jump/Hoops and see your monsters come to life, take selfies with your monsters and fundraise on the go.
Why participate in Jump Rope for Heart and collect donations for the American Heart Association (AHA)?
*In 2016, they funded 95 new research awards broadly related to pediatrics or congenital heart defects totally more than $13.5 million. This was part of $163 million funded in all aspects of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
*American Heart Association advocates for federal and state governments to improve physical education and nutrition wellness in schools.
*AHA provides lifesaving CPR courses for students so they can properly react during emergency situations.
*They have partnered with the NFL to create programs such as NFL PLAY 60 that inspires kids to get the daily recommended 60 minutes of physical activity at school and at home. Stonegate Elementary will be an NFL Play 60 school next year!
*AHA and U.S. Games have partnered to offer schools incentive awards for physical education equipment to help students stay active and healthy at school. The more money we raise to support the American Heart Association, the more certificates we earn from U.S. Games. It's a win-win!
Thank you so much for supporting our school and the American Heart Association. You are making a big difference in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

Check those Coca-Cola Codes
Dear Parents,
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This opens up Stonegate Elementary to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket.
When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes (found on bottle caps or paper packaging) here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ and our school receives a donation.Enter the code yourself or drop off your product codes at the front office and we will enter for you. Codes are found on all Coke products which includes Dasani bottled water. Find the codes on the case packaging or bottle caps.
Sincerely, Stonegate PTO

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR VISITORS
During the school day, all visitors must enter via the front door and sign-in at the front office. *ZCS thanks all volunteers for generous support of our youth and schools. Thank you, too, for supporting assurance of student and staff safety by completing and paying for a volunteer background check.
Did You Know?
ZCS, like other public schools, has a no-idling policy for vehicles on campus. The purpose of the policy is to limit vehicle emissions that might be brought into the schools and adversely impact the health of our students and staff. If you are stopped on campus for more than 5 minutes, please remember to turn off your engine. We thank you for abiding by this policy to help reduce the exposure to these emissions.
