Last Home Football Game Tonight
1. All LVES and LVIS students must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Students are not permitted on the practice field at any point during football games.
2. Standing, loitering, or horseplay under and around the stadium stands, concession stands, practice field, or any other area is prohibited. Revealing, provocative and/or inappropriate dress will not be allowed, nor will inappropriate behaviors or foul language. Repeat offenders will be required to leave the stadium and campus.
3. Once inside the stadium, middle school and high school students with a student ticket will be allowed to sit in the designated student area on the home side of the stadium. Students may sit in the reserved or general admission sections only if they are under the supervision of an adult guardian.
4. The use of alcohol, controlled substances, tobacco, and vapes are prohibited on school premises.
5. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the gates. We have a wonderful Booster Club that provides a full concession stand of food and drinks for you to purchase throughout the game.
6. Face masks must be worn at all times by ALL fans in the stands. This includes all elementary aged students. Fans should social distance and sit in designated areas, and exit stadium immediately following the game. Fans are not allowed on the track after the game ends.
Lago Vista ISD appreciates everyone’s cooperation and support as we work to keep a safe and enjoyable environment at Viking football games.
Apex Starts Next Week!!
The Lago Vista Elementary REMIX Fitness Fundraiser and Apex leadership program kicks off next week! We’re going so ALL students can take part whether they’re at home or on campus.
We love the amazing leadership and character building portion of the Apex program as it focuses on developing student self-control and interpersonal skills that are vital for school and life success. This year’s # theme will take students on an exciting journey as they learn the different habits it takes to be a MIGHTY leader! These quick, engaging lessons tie in with our schools vision and mission, encourages students to create a positive environment, and inspires them to lead by example.
✅ : The REMIX Fitness event will be held on Thursday, Nov 19.

Gifted and Talented Screening Referrals
You can find the permission form by clicking here:
http://www.lagovistaisd.net/upload/page/0060/docs/LVISD%20GT%20Referral_2018.pdf
In order to uphold safety protocols, students who are referred for G/T screening this fall will be tested on the afternoon of December 2nd, which is an early release day. Transportation will need to be arranged by parents. Parents who submit a referral for testing will receive additional information via email.
Students who are identified for the G/T program will immediately begin receiving classroom differentiation and virtual lessons and will begin receiving face-to-face services when they resume for all students (likely in the fall of 2021-2022).

Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES Families! Lago Vista Elementary has formed a kindness coalition of 3rd grade students called Project Vinátta. This group of students will help implement and promote our campus-wide No Place for Hate® activities. Vinátta is the Viking term for friendship, and our first activity, Include Someone Week is next week, Nov. 9-13, and will address the importance of including others and noticing when other students need a friend. My guidance lessons next week will help students learn ways they can include others, and students will have opportunities to share about the ways they have been inclusive. Students learning remotely are encouraged to email me after they have watched the guidance lessons, and I will be happy to post in the hallway any pictures they send me!
Friday, November 13 is also World Kindness Day, and what better way to show kindness than to include others who need a friend? Let’s all Color Our World With Kindness, and see how good it feels!
