from Dartmouth Health & GSCPHN: Your Input on the Impact of Addiction
Dartmouth Health and the Addiction Policy Forum invite you to take a short survey to share your feedback on substance use disorder and addiction within your community. The purpose of this survey is to help us gain a better understanding of knowledge and attitudes toward addiction, as well as to help our community identify challenges, barriers, and gaps in these areas. This will take about 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on your answers.
Important things you should know are:
- This online survey is completely anonymous; no identifying information will be collected, and all information we gather from the survey will be confidential.
- The survey is voluntary; you can choose whether or not to take it, and you can stop taking the survey at any time.
- This survey is for those 18 years or older.

from VR New Hampshire
If you’re a person with a disability seeking a satisfying career, a business looking for reliable talent, or a family member or educator of someone with a disability, VR New Hampshire is ready to assist.
Would you like to learn more about Vocational Rehabilitation and how it can help your student prepare for life after high school? VR New Hampshire is offering weekly information sessions on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required. (Fall Mountain Regional High School is working closely with VR Counselors already!)
Additionally, VR New Hampshire is planning an upcoming webinar for youth that might be eligible for Social Security Disability. It will review applying for social security disability, age 18 redetermination, work incentives for the youth (under age 22), introduction to the Ticket to Work program, and an overview of Benefits Counseling services.
The orientation will provide an overview of how work affects Social Security disability cash benefits and health insurance (Medicare and Medicaid). It also provides information on the work incentives available for both SSI and SSDI beneficiaries. Lastly, the orientation will discuss what to expect when receiving an individualized benefits counseling service.
This orientation will be offered in February 2024. If you are interested in being notified once dates are set, please email stacy.k.venator@doe.nh.gov
You can get 4 more free covid tests!
"The administration’s initiative will make available millions of tests for school districts as they enter the winter months — a time when COVID activity is expected to peak. Already, emergency department visits and wastewater data indicate that cases are climbing in the U.S."
Visit: https://www.covid.gov/tools-and-resources/resources/tests to order your four additional tests.

Family Activity: Make a Better New Year's Resolution
In this busy holiday season, take a moment to reflect on your strengths, and what you might want to focus on next year.
On Thursday, December 21, join us for a family & community engagement event at North Charlestown Community School.
We'll do an activity based on the UNH Wellness Wheel. This strength-based model can be used by people at any age and focuses on 8 dimensions of wellness: emotional, physical, social, occupational, environmental, intellectual, spiritual, and financial.
Kids and caregivers will participate side-by-side in this activity, or caregivers can attend on their own and bring home what they’ve learned.
Snacks will be provided and the event is free! Pre-registration is appreciated to help us prepare.
FMRHS Theater Dept looking for materials!
The Spring Musical will be Guys and Dolls, on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23rd.
Can you donate materials for set design, like wood or canvas or paint?
Our sets are very old and need updating, and the drama students will be selling ads for a cool printed program book to help raise some funds.
If anyone has connections for props and costumes from local theaters, we'd appreciate it! Contact Rachel Anderson, FMRHS Art Teacher, at randerson2@sau60.org .
