Upcoming Book Fair

The Fall Book Fair will take place on Wednesday October 26th- Saturday October 29th. There will be a teacher preview on Wednesday morning at 8:15 where you can preview the selection first and fill out wish list slips.

Grandparent's Days

We will host Grandparents on the mornings of October 27th and 28th from 7:30 - 8:30. Grandparents will have breakfast, shop at the book fair, take pictures and lastly visit classrooms starting at 8:00.

Grandparent's love to see what their grandchild is doing. You will get an interview paper for them to fill out and then share with the class!

Book Fair during Pancake Breakfast

I am looking for volunteers to help with the Book Fair during the Pancake Breakfast! If you are going to be here helping PTO and want to stop by for a 30 minute shift, please let me know!

Young Hoosier Award Nominee Books are here!

I am looking for classes the would like to dig deep into the Young Hoosier books! We have the full collection here in our library of picture books and chapter books. The Young Hoosier Books are a great way to highlight wonderful literature.

See the bulletin board outside of the library for the titles!

Books are in a big tub on the circulation desk for you to use. I will also be around to do book talks with 3rd and 4th grade for the chapter books.

In the meantime if you're class would like to study them further with me, please let me know!

See Saw Video Option

If you are up and running with See Saw, I LOVE the video option when the student's use a picture from the camera roll. They can record their voice while using the marker tool to explain something. 3rd grade took a picture of a rock and the students use the marker tool to point out characteristics of why a certain rock was sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous.

This feature is also great for showing mathematical thinking of story problems!

Students can then post it to the class feed after your approval!
