Cast Your Ballot

This is the last day to cast your ballot for Homecoming Queen. Students will have to be logged in to their @madison.k12.al.us Google Apps accounts to vote. Now click on the link below and cast your vote for the Queen of the Trojan Nation!

See You at the Pole

We had a great turn out for the "See You at the Pole" prayer event this morning! Thank you to our sponsors, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and First Priority!

Swim Team Calendar

This year, the Hazel Green Swim Team is raising funds by selling college football team calendars by Greg Gamble. Yes, that's right, you too can have your very own 2016 calendar depicting your favorite college sports team for just $20. Not only will you be supporting the swim team, but you'll also have some wonderful memorabilia to hang on your wall to show those young whippersnappers in your classes just who they should be rooting for every Saturday. Please email Ms. Mayes at smayes@mcssk12.org for more information.

Parade, Pep Rally, Bonfire, DJ, Food Trucks, and FUN ~ September 24th

The Homecoming Parade will start tomorrow at 5:30 PM, and we're hoping to make it a community event! Please be in line at 4:00 PM tomorrow afternoon. We have lots of great things planned, so come out and support your Trojans! Food trucks will be on campus starting at 4:00 PM and the parade route will end on the north side of the school for the pep rally and bonfire, complete with a DJ! Bring your chairs and blankets, and spend the evening with us! The parade route and parking information can be found on the school website.

We are happy to have the community involved in this year's parade! Church youth groups, girl scout troops, athletic teams, and school clubs can make a float or just walk! If you would like to be involved, complete the parade entry form, and return waivers for each person participating. No people may ride on the floats, but they are welcome to ride in a truck or trailer.

Missing those Great Photo Moments?

Do you want to see more of you and your friends in the yearbook? Is the yearbook staff missing out on great "photo" moments that you would love to share? Great news, our yearbook company is providing us with an app to upload your personal pictures for the yearbook, available for free in your device's app store! In the app store, search BalfourImageShare, download it, enter the project number 601108, and start taking pictures. It is that easy!

This week we will be hosting our annual banner competition! Any class or school group can participate in the banner display, the float building activities, and can walk in the parade! This is a competition, and the winner will be announced Friday morning with an additional "recognition" coming! We did donuts for Hoopcoming, so think along those lines!

Please have your banners ready tomorrow morning. We are anticipating a lot of participants, and this is a good way to spread the "HC Fever" to more than just the court!
