Next week, students in grades 4 through 8 will be taking the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Social-Emotional Learning and Well-Being Survey. Student well-being is a critical priority and ISBE wants to learn from students how they are doing right now to better offer support.

This survey will ask students about self-awareness, goal management, social awareness, self-management, relationship, and decision-making skills. The survey is completely anonymous and will take students approximately 15-minutes to complete.

La próxima semana, los estudiantes de 4to a 8vo grado tomarán la Encuesta de Aprendizaje y Bienestar Socioemocional de la Junta de Educación del Estado de Illinois (ISBE). El bienestar de los estudiantes es una prioridad fundamental y el ISBE quiere aprender de los estudiantes cómo ellos están en este momento para ofrecer un mejor apoyo.

Shield Testing

District 100 will continue to promote a healthy school environment to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses, including thorough cleaning and disinfection, improved ventilation, and reinforcing proper hand and respiratory hygiene. District 100 will also continue to follow the IDPH exclusion recommendations for individuals who are positive for COVID-19. Masking remains optional and voluntary SHIELD and BinaxNow testing will continue to be available.
