Fall Week of Worship (this is just the beginning)

Each Week of Worship brings blessings and surprises to our students. This week we had Pastor Jarrod Songy on our campus, bringing us our message for each day. We heard how we are to love courageously as children loved by God. This year we will continue to focus on “My 12 People”. Each student is to privately choose 12 people to pray for and show the kindness God has given us. Let's see how God will bless!

MAP Testing for our 2nd Semester will begin next week.

Next week we will begin assessment testing. Assessment testing happens three times a year. The assessments are MAP tests, Measures of Academic Progress (MAP®). When taking these computerized adaptive tests, the difficulty of each question is based on how well a student answers all the previous questions. All students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will take the test. The results from this test will provide us with what the child knows and is ready to learn next. We will also be able to see how they are progressing from the first test in September. We will use this information to track each student's growth over the year. MAP tests the student's knowledge in Math, Science and Language arts to assist teachers in setting goals in learning.

Help your child do their best.

2. Eat a healthy breakfast

3. Get exercise

Save-the-Date for our Raise Craze Fundraiser

Our Kindness Fundraiser kicks off on September 9 (updated)!! Here is an intro video so you know what to look forward to. Below you will also see a brief description on how it will work. We will be sending out more information over the next couple weeks, so hold tight! Our kick off assembly will be on September 9 when we'll be informing our students on how it all works and introducing some awesome class and individual incentive prizes for fundraising efforts.
What is Raise Craze?

A Fundraiser We Can Be Proud Of!

Raise Craze is an online platform enabling students to set up secure, custom websites where they request donations via email. During the fundraiser, students pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness for others.

Here’s How It Works

REGISTER We’ll provide a link for you to register and create your child’s website.

ACTS OF KINDNESS Students select at least 3 ways to pay it forward.

ENTER EMAILS Students enter email addresses of friends and family.
Raise Craze will take it from there sending all emails, reminders, and thank you’s.

Students can spend time serving instead of selling! Have fun spreading kindness!

Look for your Home and School Classroom Representative

Home and School has established a classroom representative for each grade to help create the best possible communication and coordination between classroom parents and the Home and School team. Look for information from your classroom H&S representative. One of the big goals this year is to fundraise for a new middle school playground adventure area. Keep posted for information regarding one of our major fundraiser starting September 1. And don't forget we're currently collecting shoes. Scroll below for more information.

Shoe Drive: August 9 - October 8, 2021

We're excited about our latest fundraiser because you don't have to buy ANYTHING! We're collecting gently worn, used and new shoes to raise money for playground equipment for the Middle School. Not only do you help us, but the shoes also get a second life with those in need. It's a double donation!

Athletics Pre-season Zoom Meeting for All Parents and Students in the program

With sports beginning we want to have a player/parent zoom meeting at 6:30 pm on Monday Aug. 30, 2021. We will outline the expectations for players and fans (parents), discuss how to interact with the coaches and the athletic director and update you on Covid-19 procedures.
