A Message from the Principal
Hello Hobby Family,
What a great week it has been at Hobby Middle School. A big thank you to the best PTA in Northside for helping us have a great teacher appreciation week. Your support in thanking our teachers for their dedication and hard work in helping our students be more successful is truly appreciated.
Last Friday, PTA threw a hangout "Hoedown and Throw-down". We had almost 200 students stay for the event for fun, friends, and food. The evening was a huge success, and we thank our wonderful PTA for hosting the event.
This week we took the first round of our State assessments in 8th Grade. A big thank you to our 8th grade students who did a remarkable job being prepared. It warmed my heart to see so many students before school reviewing their notes to be ready for the test.
Next week the entire campus will be taking the STAAR Math test on Tuesday May 10th and the STAAR reading test on Wednesday May 11th. Please remind your students to bring their chrome book and their charger every day next week to be prepared for the online tests.
Thank you all for a great week, and we look forward to an even better one.
Have a positive purple power weekend.
