The commanders from France were Joseph Joffre, Ferdinand Foch a commander from Belgium was Albert 1 and from the United Kingdom was John French. From the German Empire they had Erich Von Falkenhayn, Albrecht of Wurttemberg, Ruppercht of Bavaria, Max von Fabeck, Alexander von Linsingen. You may be wondering who won the battle and the German Empire was the one to win the Ypres war. The Germans won the ypres war.
