16-Spirit Day / Pep Rally, 2:15 pm in the gym. Students may wear their Spirit shirts (this includes new Spirit shirts as well!).

17-NJHS / FAS Induction Ceremony /Art Show /School Social, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the gym.

19-World's Finest Kickoff, 8:00 am in the gym.

22-Parade of Lights (details TBA).

23-Thanksgiving Luncheon, Parish Hall.

24-Noon Dismissal.

25-27-Thanksgiving Break.

Spirit Day / Pep Rally, Monday, November 16th in the gym at 2:15 pm.

Students may dress up in their Spirit uniform to celebrate our athletes. The pep rally will be held in the gym at 2:15 pm. The gym doors will open at 2:00 pm. Please park in the street along the gym parking lot.


Spirit Uniform:


  • Spirit t-shirt (any of the new Spirit shirts may be worn)
  • Uniform sweater or new school sweatshirt
  • Blue jean pants - Must be blue; cannot be tight or fringed/holes, and no leggings/jeggings. If in doubt, it's best for the student to wear uniform pants.
  • Uniform shoes

National Junior Honor Society & Fine Arts Society Induction Ceremony / Art Show / H.S.A. Social, Nov. 17th, 6 pm - 8 pm

The National Junior Honor Society and Fine Arts Society Induction Ceremony will happen on Tuesday, November 17th in the gym, 6 pm - 8 pm. Middle school under the supervisor of Miss Bayer has been preparing their art work for the Art Show. The Home and School Association will have a social fundraiser on that night as well. This is a great opportunity for the St. George community to come together for dinner and support the school's middle school programs.

World Finest Candy Kickoff, Thursday November 19th, 8 am in the Gym

Help raise funds for St. George by selling World's Finest Candy. All profits raised from selling candy goes into the school's operating budget and just one of the many ways to help keep tuition low. Prizes given out weekly and for the highest seller. A World's Finest party will be held for students selling a minimum of 2 cases or opting to buy out. Candy will be given out on Friday, November 20th. Students must have parent permission to sell candy. Contact the school for more details.

Fort Worth Parade of Lights, Sunday, November 22nd

St. George Catholic School will again participate in Fort Worth's Parade of Lights on Sunday, November 22nd. We need St. George students to ride on the school float. Parents are welcomed on the float too! The Peace themed float is white, silver, and gold. Everyone riding on the float needs to wear a white top with gold or silver. Dressing up as ANGEL is acceptable and encouraged. Each family participating in the Parade of Lights is asked to donate $20 to help defrayed the costs of the float. Contact the school office for more details.

Thanksgiving Lunch- Monday, November 23rd.

All families are invited to join St. George for our Thanksgiving lunch on Monday, November 23rd. The cost for lunch is $3.75 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 3 - 14. To ensure there is enough food, we are asking that you RSVP and pay in advance.
