Message from the Gresham Barlow School District
Dear GBSD Staff and Families,
We wanted to share with you an update from Multnomah County Health Department (MCHD) on the COVID-19 cases in our region.
The Health Department is currently seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases in schools and among school-aged children and teens.
Multnomah County Public Health is asking schools to encourage students and staff to wear masks in indoor spaces for the next few weeks, to protect in-person instruction and ensure students have the opportunity to attend year-end events.
As the message from the Health Department states, this is not a mandate. It is a recommendation for voluntary indoor masking.
Thank you for all you are doing to keep the students and staff of our community safe.
We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times.
Sincerely,
Gresham-Barlow School District
