Student of the Trimester Assembly

We are so very proud of ALL of our students at Mammoth Elementary School. We are working hard this year to acknowledge students' hard work and effort in many different ways. Teachers have selected students to be honored with Student of the Trimester Awards, and they are invited to a Zoom assembly next Tuesday, December 15, at 12:00pm. The Zoom link was sent via Parent Square this morning to families of recipients.

Shelter in Place Order

We would like to express our hope that your family is safe and adhering to our state and county guidelines. Superintendent Wildman sent an update last week with important information regarding the shut down and how it affects MUSD. Here are a few important notes from her message.

State and local health guidelines in MUSD mean that:

* We will close all school buildings, classrooms and offices (except Husky Club & Nutrition) as of Monday, December 7 until further notice.
* Students will remain on Distance Learning.
* All employees (except Husky & Nutrition) will work remotely.
* Teachers will need to teach remotely from off-campus.
* Husky Club will remain open for the time being pending further guidance.
* We will continue to distribute meals from our Nutrition Department.
* In-person small group instruction, support and assessment will end and revert to online-only starting Monday, December 7th.
* Any student materials pick-up needed to be completed by, Friday, December 4th.

Please feel free to contact MES with any additional questions.
