Erin Jessica Moreken Drug & Alcohol Treatment Fund Scholarship

Amount: $1000

Deadline: May 15, 2018


This $1000 scholarship was established by the Erin Jessica Moreken Drug & Alcohol Treatment Fund, Inc. in 2014. It was created to assist a graduating senior who has a financial need and is scheduled to graduate in June 2018. Criteria for eligibility has been determined as follows:

  1. Candidate must be a High School Senior from a designated high school.

  2. Candidate must have all requirements necessary to graduate in June 2018.

  3. Candidate and/or immediate family member have, or have had drug/alcohol issues, and the candidate has succeeded despite this dysfunction within the family. Candidates who themselves are in recovery must have at least one year sobriety, have a sponsor, and be a member of a support program

  4. Candidate must have been accepted into a post high school program, with plans to further his/her education/career, before funds are disbursed. Post high school acceptance letter must accompany application.

  5. Scholarship may be awarded anonymously if requested by recipient.

Jermyn Shade Tree Commission

The Jermyn Shade Tree Commission is looking for students to assist with spring cleanup endeavors such raking the greenway. If you are interested let Mrs. deQuevedo know and she will provide you contact information. This is a great way to get your hours toward graduation!
