Edgar Allan Poe's Life
Born in Boston on January 19, 1809, was Edgar Allan Poe. Poe lived a life of poverty throughout his childhood and adult hood. When Poe was 1 his father and mother ended up separating and all the kids went with the mother. Every one he loved ended up dieing of tuberculosis. Poe's mother died of TB when he was only 2 years old. He was then taken to the Allan family where they will take care of him. When Poe was 6 years old, he was sent to England to go to school. When Poe was 11 years old, he was sent back to the US to continue his school work. 1823, Poe is 14 years old, he attended the academy of William Burke and is great in athletics. Later when Poe was only 16, John Allan gets a bunch of money when his uncle dies. When Poe was 18 years old he was forced to drop out of school because John Allan won't give him any money.

Books by Poe
Poe started writing short story's and selling them at the beginning of his career. Later in his career he started writing big books and poems. Poe worked all week on his books but still could not make enough money to support his life. Some of his books and poems include The Raven, Tamerlane and other poems, The Fall of the House of Usher, The tell-tale Heart. As time went on his books began getting more famous.
His mysterious death?
No one really no's how Poe died. When they found him he was drunk and missing some clothes. Many people believed he had got mugged or just died of alcoholic. When they found him he was immediately sent to the hospital where he had died.
