Congratulations Band Students
Congratulations to all the band students! They received medals for their participation at the TPSMEA Solo Contest on March 2nd and the HFCS Solo Contest on March 7th.
Fifty-eight students received a 1st Division and eleven received a 2nd Division.
Great Job Hornets! Thank You Ms. Bernal for all your hard work!
A Message from our Principal
We prayed the Holy Rosary this morning. Thanks to Third Grade who did a great job.
We also talked about yesterday’s Gospel, the Prodigal Son. The parable talked about a young man who left home, took his inheritance and squandered it all. Yet, when he decided to return home, his father welcomed him wholeheartedly.
“The Bible is not the story of our quest for God, but of God’s passionate, relentless quest for us.” (Bishop Robert Barron)
The father put a ring on his son’s finger – symbolizing the reestablishment of a right relationship between us and God.
Please continue to encourage your children to collect spare change for the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl encounter. It’s a great was to give alms to the poor.
Thank you for your generosity with the paper drive. We brought all the items to Our Lady of Victory Convent this morning.
Stations of the Cross---Friday’s @ 2:20 pm- during Lent, with the exception of Holy Thursday, when it will be at 11:20 am.
The Hornet band (8th, 7th, and 6th) is in the last week of preparation for the Texas Private School Middle School Concert Band competition this Friday, April 5, at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas. We wish them the best! Go Hornet Band!!
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

Home and School Association Meeting UPDATE!
There will be an HSA meeting on April 3rd. Meeting time of 6:30 PM.
Just a reminder that this next meeting will be one with a lot of information specifically targeting Teacher Appreciation Week. This is the biggest event for the HSA and I'd like to go over ways to make it even better than last year.
Also, please begin asking your parents for any gift card donations they would be willing to help out with. We have roughly 6 weeks before we will be needing them with an additional week for final preparations.
