Theme for the Year: Goodness

Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul

Theme for the Year - Goodness

At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples, recognizing the goodness of God in our lives and in the world around us, each and every day.

Our Mission and Vision Statements

Mission:

St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.

Vision:

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

From the Principal

It's that time of year once again: Catholic Schools Week! This week marks the 46th anniversary year of celebrating Catholic education in the United States. Please check out what we have planned for the week. We hope all of our students and parents know how honored we are to be partnering with you at St. Joseph Catholic School. We see our role as a ministry, and want you to know it is our desire to grow your children in faith, wisdom, and virtue. Thank you for allowing us to walk this journey with you and your family.

In Christ's service,

Diane Price, M.Ed.L.

Principal

Moments Around Campus

Geography Bee Participants

Big picture
Thank you to all the students who participated in today's Geography Bee! Great job, Knights! Looks like everyone had a good time sharing their knowledge of the world. Well done!
Big picture
Congratulations to our Geography Bee winners: Kiera Connors-3rd place, Noah Pham-Bee Champion, and Dyllan Le-Runner Up.
Big picture
Our new 8th Grade Safety Patrol is off to a good start! Since they are also children in our care, the 8th graders are not to get around the cars. Our 8th graders are here to help walk your child to class, helping to carry heavy items for your child as well. Thank you for your missionary discipleship, 8th grade, in this purely voluntary role. We may find we need fewer hands, but we thank them all for being so willing to participate!

Art this Week

3rd Grade completed Navajo Sand Painting Drawings this week. Very detailed work, Knights!

Storage Building and GreenHouse Update

Big picture
The foundation for both the storage building and the greenhouse are formed and ready for concrete. Now, let's pray for a stretch of dry weather to pour the concrete! Can you spy former parent, Mr. Brian Burkham in the photo? We are so grateful for his assistance with this project!
Big picture
Today’s STREAM classes learned how snowflakes form, examined microscope slides containing preserved snowflakes, and created snowflake design structures using geoboards. Looking good, Knights!

Without our mentors, we could not have a Robotics Club. Thank you for your dedication to our students! You are so appreciated, all of you!
