Northeast Nebraska Ag Community Scholarship
Great LOCAL Scholarship for seniors who are interested in a Ag related field. See application for more details. Due April 12th.
James M. Cox Foundation
This scholarship is good for just about any senior to apply for! Due April 15th.
Norfolk Morning Optimist Scholarship
The Norfolk Morning Optimist Club is proud to be able to offer one $500 scholarship to a deserving student from Norfolk High School, Lutheran High Northeast, or Norfolk Catholic High School. The scholarship is for students who exhibit distinctive dedication and passion for volunteerism. See the application for more information and return it to the counseling center by April 15th at 4:00 p.m.
American Legion Post #16
American Legion Post #18 offers to award at each Norfolk High School one $500.00 scholarship to an eligible Son or Daughter, or Stepson or Stepdaughter, or Grandson or Granddaughter, or Step-grandson or Step-granddaughter, of a current Norfolk Post #16 or Squadron 16 Sons of the American Legion member in good standing. Please see the application for more details. Completed applications should be brought to the counseling center by April 15th at 4:00 p.m.
Meadow Grove Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Meadow Grove Federal Credit Union will give away a $500.00 scholarship to a 2019 graduating senior that is a member in good standing at the Credit Union or a student who would like to become a member of the Credit Union. Applicants are to write a short essay explaining their plans and how this scholarship will benefit him/her personally and his/her community. The deadline for the scholarship applications to be returned to the credit union is April 16th.
Norfolk Elementary Scholarships
The following NPS Elementary Schools offer scholarships for students who attended school there: Bel Air, Grant, Jefferson, Montessori, Washington, Westside, Woodland Park. The scholarship amounts defer depending on the school. Please complete the application below (circle your school) and return to the counseling center by April 18th.
Norfolk City Education Association Scholarship
Any senior student whose parent or guardian is a current member of the NCEA can apply for a $500 scholarship by completing the attached application and turning it into the counseling center by April 19th.
Local 1005 Fire Division Scholarship
Seniors planning to attend Northeast Community College can apply for this scholarship. Please bring completed scholarships to the Counseling Center by April 19th at 4:00 pm.
Feidler Eye Clinic Scholarship
A $250 scholarship will be awarded to a Norfolk Senior High senior planning on pursuing a major in biological science or a health care related field. Please see the application for details. Completed applications are due in the counseling center on April 23rd at 4:00 pm. Please include a photo of yourself with your application.
Norfolk Soccer Club Scholarship
There are two $500 scholarships available (one for a boy and one for a girl). Applicants must be seniors who have participated in Norfolk Soccer Club for a minimum of 2 years. Applications are due in the counseling center by noon on April 23rd.
Norfolk Senior High Staff Scholarship
Any Norfolk Senior High senior can apply for this scholarship. Please bring completed applications to the counseling center by April 26th at 4:00 p.m.
Carol Gall Memorial Scholarship
The Carol Gall Memorial Scholarship offer 2-3 $500 scholarships from the Norfolk Noon Optimist Club to graduating seniors. Completed applications should be sent to the address on the application by April 26th. Your application should include 2 letters of recommendation and a completed counselor review form found below.
Norfolk Student Council Scholarship
Seniors who have participated in Student Council can apply for this scholarship due in the counseling center on April 26th.
Lueshen's Birders
Lueshen's Birders is a Northeast Nebraska Birdwatchers organization that was formed to promote bird watching, wildlife conservation, and enjoyment of nature. With this in mind, the Club is offering 2 scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each to students planning to enter a biological field of study with special emphasis on wildlife and environmental conservation. Please submit completed scholarship applications to the address listed on the application by April 29th.
