Middle School Wrestling
WHY WRESTLE? Wrestling is perhaps the purest form of athletic competition to exist in the realm of organized sports. It's very intense, highly competitive, and teaches the athlete to pull from within themselves great power and strength, forcing them to push themselves both mentally and physically beyond what they once thought possible. Wrestling involves all the muscle groups, and requires the greatest balance of athletic skill. During training, a wrestler works on constantly improving their strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, speed and technique. Wrestlers are self reliant, mentally and physically fit, have a great work ethic, are self disciplined, competitive, responsible, goal-oriented and very confident.
Wrestling practice starts November 12. Practices are 3:30-5:00 pm in the multipurpose room every weekday except Wednesday. Knee pads, headgear, and singlets provided. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me, askubal@mhlt.org.
Thanks,
Coach Andy Skubal
