Update On Paint Your Spot:

Students holding a parking permit may paint their spot for $25 on Wednesday, October 14 from 4-7 or on Saturday, October 17 from 9-12.

Volunteer Opportunity:

Collins High School will be hosting a Life Fair on November 18th for our freshman students. The event is designed to get them thinking about their future careers and how the will be able to finance the life they want. We are requesting volunteers to work some of the booths our students will be required to visit. The day will happen in two sessions (session one: 8:30-12:00 and session two: 12-3:20). We are asking you to serve one session, but if you can stay for both, we will provide you lunch! Please email Leesa Stivers at Leesa.stivers@Shelby.kyschools.us

Report Cards:

Report Cards will be going home this Friday, October 16th.

PSAT

Sophomores and Juniors that are taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14th, need to be in the small gym and ready to go by 8:15am. Please bring pencils and a calculator.

College Application Week:

All seniors will have the opportunity to apply to a college of their choice during the school day next week.

Project Graduation:

Men of Distinction Mentoring Program:

We are looking for men from our community who want to pour into the lives of our young men through mentoring. If you have been looking for an opportunity to give back then this may be the program for you! For more information about the Men of Distinction Mentoring program please contact Dr. Shalonda Gregory at 647-1160 EXT 1105. Visit Collins’ Youth Service Center to apply. All volunteers must complete a background check. Deadline to apply is November 2, 2015.
