Staff Spotlight: Ms. Emily Howland (World Language Teacher)
Ms. Emily Howland is a 2015 Warren Central Graduate. While Ms. Howland was in High School, she participated in Guard, Band, and Cross Country. She has carried over her skills and is a sponsor for the Warren Central Color Guard and Winter Guard. Ms. Howland shows her love of Spanish by teaching our Spanish I and II students.

Covid-19 Vaccine - Ages 16 and Older
All Indiana residents 16 and above are now eligible for the COVID vaccine.
- Families making appointments for teens who are 16 or 17 years old will need to make sure they are selecting a location offering the Pfizer vaccine.
- Anyone younger than 18 who wants to get vaccinated will need permission from a parent or guardian.
WCHS Mask Mandate Update
Beginning Tuesday, April 6, the mask mandate becomes a mask advisory with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is the school setting. MSD Warren Township buildings will maintain our mask requirement for students and staff as well as our social distancing and handwashing expectations for the remainder of the school year.
Summer School Information
2021 Summer School Virtual Courses (Indiana Online Academy)
This year Warren Central High School will partner with Indiana Online Academy to provide students with additional course offerings.
- Current 10th and 11th-grade students who are planning to work ahead to earn credits in Government (grade 11), Economics (grade 11), U.S. History 1 and 2 (grade 10), or students who need to take PE and Health, will complete the coursework through Indiana Online Academy (IOA) with IOA instructors.
- These courses will be entirely virtual and will be conducted from June 7, 2021-July 18, 2021. Enrollment for these courses begins on April 5, 2021.
- Students who enroll in these courses will follow the timelines and guidance of the IOA program.
- Once a student successfully completes the course, the course will be added to the student’s transcript. These courses will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central High School students.

Today - End of Mid-Quarter 4
Mid-quarter 4 grades are due on Friday, April 16th. Make sure to turn all work in and get with teachers for any questions.

Graduation Commencement Information
Graduation will be in the WCHS Performing Arts Center. Each graduate may bring up to six guests and all graduation requirements must be completed in order to participate.
- June 3rd - Last Names A-K
- June 4th - Last Names L-Z
- Hybrid Students - pick up during the school day
- Virtual Students - pick up after school

FOOD DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION
- 100% VIRTUAL families can pick up food on Tuesday from 8:00-9:30 a.m. or 4:00- 6:00 p.m. at Moorhead Community Resource Center located at 8400 East 10th Street.
- All hybrid in-person students will have the opportunity to pick up meals while in-person to take home for the following school day. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!
