Planning for 2023-2024 School Year
While this year's Professional Development is fresh in everyone's minds, the PD committee wanted to give all members the opportunity to start thinking ahead to workshops they would like to see offered in the coming year. We have attached a form that you can begin filling out at any time. We will be accepting suggestions until June 30, 2023. Please use the attached form to give the committee input in any of the following ways:
- Propose a topic. Do you find yourself wishing a certain topic would be offered, but it never seems to be? Suggest it! Would you like more information about a topic that was offered this suggest? Ask for more sessions on this topic! This information directly informs our planning.
- Suggest a presenter. Have you been to a conference and seen a presenter you wish would visit here? Would you like someone to return that has presented in the past? Is there someone you've read about that you think would offer insight into a topic that is important to you? Tell us about them! You are the expert in your field!
- Request to be a presenter yourself. We are always proud and impressed by the presentations produced by our very own members. You have a wealth of knowledge yourself-- why not share it with others? Let us know you are interested! You may present alone or with colleagues. Presenters earn double the PDPs.
